Uwe Ohse - uschedule
The uschedule security guarantee
Starting from uschedule-0.7.1 I offer $250 to the first person to publish
a verifiable security hole in the latest version of uschedule. I reserve
judgement of what exactly constitutes a security hole.
At least these things are not security problems of uschedule:
- bugs inside of scripts or programs called by the uscheduled daemon.
- bugs resulting from non-standard installation.
- denial of service attacks using the uschedule package. These things
are a matter of system administration. I have chosen not use
more restrictive defaults for the sake of ease of use and because
the question "which resource limits are the right ones" can only be
answered locally.
- bugs inside the operation systems libraries.
